The premier bilateral forum for young leaders from Australia and Indonesia is back.!
What’s the vibe this year? CAUSINDY 2026 is heading to Bandung, Indonesia from 8–12 June 2026. We are diving deep into the Just Energy Transition—finding ways to move toward sustainable energy that are fair, inclusive, and socially just for both our nations.

Expect four days of high-stakes panels, co-designing projects, and building the kind of cross-border friendships that actually change the world.

The “Must-Know” FAQ

1. Am I eligible?

If you hit these three marks, we want to see your application:

  • Citizenship: You are an Australian or Indonesian citizen.

  • Age: You are between 25 and 35 years old (as of June 2026).

  • Passion: You care about the Australia–Indonesia relationship and want to solve real-world problems.

2. Do I need to be an “Energy Expert” to apply?

Short answer: No. We need a “SQUADINDY” from all walks of life—policy, business, academia, social enterprise, and even the creative arts. If you have a project or an idea involving renewable energy, that’s a huge plus, but we value leadership and initiative above all else.

3. What’s in it for me? (The Perks)

We want you focused on innovating, not your bank account. Selected delegates receive:

  • 🍲 Meals: Provided throughout the conference.

  • ✈️ Travel: 75% Travel Coverage (a major subsidy for your flights/transport).

4. What exactly will I be doing for 4 days?
