CAUSINDY Alumni, are you interested in building a professional mentoring relationship with the future leaders of Indonesia and Australia bilateral relations?
We are looking for mentors to participate in Pathways, the brand new professional mentorship program co-run by CAUSINDY and AIYA – and we invite you, CAUSINDY Alumni, to apply as mentors.
About the program
Pathways is a new collaborative program between CAUSINDY and AIYA (Australia-Indonesia Youth Association) which matches current university students or recent graduates (members of AIYA) with experienced professionals in their fields of interest, drawn from the CAUSINDY community. The aim is to carve a pathway for the next generation to develop the skills they need to build their desired careers in the Australia-Indonesia bilateral relationship.
CAUSINDY and AIYA will select a number of mentors and mentees who will be matched based on shared interests and expertise. Our team will also provide each pair with advice and resources to help them get the most from the mentoring relationship.
Where you come in
We are preparing to launch the first phase of the program, and to do that we invite you as members of our alumni community to apply to become mentors. There are many benefits to being a mentor: an opportunity to develop your own coaching skills, and a chance to help the next generation of leaders learn from your professional experiences.
Time commitment and duration
The commitment of a mentor is small – only monthly virtual meetings at your and your mentee’s discretion. The program consists of eight virtual meetings, which will run from June to December 2020 (8 months). Your participation is flexible and can be tailored to suit your availability and interests. The program team will be available to provide advice and support at each step. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program will be entirely online, but we will consider expanding it to in-person meetings in the future.
